Is the print on my kurta made by hand?
Yes, entirely. Every motif is carved into a wooden block and pressed by hand onto the fabric, one impression at a time. No machines, no shortcuts. This is why each piece carries its own subtle uniqueness: a slight variation in placement or tone that tells you a real pair of hands made this for you.
What prints are available?
Our pieces are available in four hand-block prints which are Buta, Maple, Pine, and Conch. Each one is carved into a wooden block and pressed onto the fabric by hand, one impression at a time.
